We welcome both day visitors and overnight guests to this unique place in the sea. During the 2025 season, you can visit the island from May 29 to September 30.
Feel the wings of history
The lighthouse was manned in 1909 with a lighthouse keeper, a lighthouse keeper and a lighthouse assistant. At its peak, 21 people lived here and a school was set up in the attic. From 1952, the lighthouse keeper was the sole operator of the facility and in 1963 it was automated the guys.
Discover the High Coast - at a high level
From the lighthouse and hostel you have a striking view of the sea, but the sea also means wear and tear on the buildings. In the 2024 season, the Swedish Maritime Administration has renovated the lighthouse, which means that from the 2025 season we can show the lighthouse again!
